Zied Merichko
Chief Operating Officer
Zied Merichko is the Chief Operating Officer for Nioum and brings with him over 20 years of experience within the Information Technology industry, which began in 1994 when he started working with France Telecom. He then joined Alcatel, where he reactivated the recognition of the brand in the Middle East and North Africa region.
As COO for Nioum, he brings together a wide range of products and management systems born from the latest innovations with expandable capabilities. This includes hardware engineering, software development, lifecycle management and services, security and safety systems, energy management, health care, automation and entertainment delivered to the end-user. Ultimately, leading Nioum to supply homes in the market with a new generation of smart solutions through Telco companies, real estate players and retailers.
Zied works tirelessly towards building emotional connections between Nioum and its customers. His aim is to drive structural expansion whilst increasing the company’s market penetration and share.
Zied has a Master Degree in Engineering from Ecole Superieure de Commerce in Marseille, France.
Jude Hamod
Director of Investments
Jude Hamod is the Director of Investments and Strategy. She is responsible for sourcing top-tier technology startups, that are focused on building solutions across the real-estate industry. Jude plays an integral role in supporting startups to penetrate the MENA market, whilst helping corporate customers achieve innovation objectives.
Prior to this, Jude launched 1776's first international office in Dubai under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. 1776 is an international venture capital fund and incubator, where Jude developed relationships and consulted Dubai-based government authorities on their innovation strategies as well as supported portfolio startups in highly regulated markets.
Her background includes a number of strategy and business development leadership roles in Silicon Valley. Jude holds a Law Degree and a Masters in International Business Law from Université Panthéon-Sorbonne in Paris, as well as an LLM specialized in Negotiation and Alternative Dispute Resolution from UC Hastings.
